Disney has just revealed that Disney Plus is going to be increasing its subscription price in 2021 for the first time.
The new monthly cost for subscribers, which will take effect in March 2021, will increase subscription costs from the current $6.99 to $7.99.
This is being done amid massive amounts of new content coming to the streaming service throughout 2021 with many new series being announced for 2022 and beyond.
This price increase will happen just in time for the release of Raya and the Last Dragon on the streaming service, which will be the second use of the Disney Plus Premier Acess program after Mulan's release earlier this year.
