IT is always special when Disney characters appear in special costumes in the Disney Parks, especially when they have a special holiday theme.
For many years after the original hit movie was released, Stitch would appear every Christmas season in a special Hawaiin themed Christmas outfit, featuring a red and green aloha shirt and flowery red lei.
Stitch would meet with guests throughout the season, often alongside Lilo at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
His outfit would even be changed out for the season in the Hollywood Hollyday Parade Christmas themed overlay of the classic Stars and Motor Cars Parade at Disney MGM Studios (now Disney's Hollywood Studios).
Today this outfit has essentially been retired in favor of an updated look for Stitch at Christmastime, often dressed up in a Santa Claus outfit, but it remains a fun part of his history at Walt Disney World, tying to tie him into his Hawaiian roots in a fun way.
