Alien Swirling Saucers is one of the newest rides at Disney's Hollywood Studios, and it is themed based on the famous Green Aliens from the Toy Story franchise.
Here are 10 fun facts about this modern hit Disney World ride.
1. Songs
This ride features multiple different songs that are played during the attraction. All of these are science fiction inspired versions of classic Toy Story songs.
2. Concept Art
Despite not being announced for the expansion, this ride appears in the concept art for the upcoming expansion of Walt Disney Studios in Paris.
3. Pizza Planet
Fitting with the theme of Toy Story Land as being located in Andy's Backyard, this ride is themed as a large toy from Pizza Planet.
4. Buzz
Outside of this ride, you can find a massive Buzz Lightyear figure.
5. Green Aliens
Each ride vehicle has a Green Alien figure in it inspired by the characters from the film.
6. Other Version
This same ride system is used on two other Disney attractions, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree and The Happy Ride With Baymax.
7. Night Version
At night this ride lights up (literally) with a light show choreographed to the attraction's musical score.
8. Covered
Unlike the Disneyland version of the same ride system, this attraction features a roof that allows it to be protected from the elements of Florida weather.

This is the first flat ride to open up at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The claw, one of the most famous objects from the Toy Story series is featured in this attraction.
