As part of the shareholder meeting, Disney revealed some information on the future of the Disney Cruise Line, specifically in regards to being able to return to offering cruises once again following the COVID19 pandemic.
They stated that they expect that cruises may be able to resume once again at some level as soon as this fall.
There were stipulations to this statement however, stating that cruises resuming would be contingent on the level of vaccinations throughout the country.
Also, they made sure to make clear that cruises would not be returning in full at first, first reopening with capacity limits and social distancing requirements similar to what can be seen at Disney theme parks around the world.
This is an exciting announcement that at least gives a timeline for when the four ships of the Disney Cruise Line may continue entertaining guests safely once more.
