Disney Magic Kingdoms is constantly adding new characters from various Disney, Pixar, and Star Wars films, allowing you to build your own Disney Park and populate it with characters. But they don't always add every significant character from each film that comes to the game.
Today we are looking at 10 of the biggest characters missing from the game. We are only including films that have already been added to the game, and for the purpose of Star Wars, only including characters from films and TV series that have been featured in the event.
10. M-O
WALLE has the fewest characters of any movie in Disney Magic Kingdoms and there are many more characters that could add, but to me the best fit would be M-O. He is the biggest of the robots not in the game apart from Auto, who would be better suited as an attraction than a character.
It would be fun to watch him wander the kingdom cleaning, an I can imagine some fun animations alongside WALLE where they follow each other.
9. Various Finding Nemo/ Dory
Finding Nemo and Finding Dory both have many characters that could be added to the game that are not currently in the game.
From Finding Nemo, the Tank Gang alone could fill another update with its characters, and that's without mentioning the numerous other characters that could also be added to the game including Anchor and Chum, Nemo's school friends, and many more.
Finding Dory opens up many other characters as well, Gerald and the other sea lions, Dory's parents, and more could be great additions.
Between the two films, there could easily be another full event based on the world of Finding Nemo.
8. Launchpad McQuack
Disney Magic Kingdoms added Ducktales, but added very few characters to the game from the iconic TV series. One of many significant characters missing from the game is Launchpad McQuack. Not only is he a huge part of Ducktales, but he also was a part of another Disney Afternoon series, Talespin.
Launchpad has been a huge part of the Disney Parks in the past and present and could open up storylines not only with Ducktales characters, but also Baloo if he got added to the game.
7. Mr. Smee
Peter Pan is one of the most iconic Disney films of all time, with tons of famous characters. But one of its most famous is still not in the game, Mr. Smee. As the secondary villain, Mr. Smee is one of the most famous characters in the film but is still not in the game.
He could always be added later on, but with so many Peter Pan characters already in the game it might be a strange update to add him.
6. Ray
Princess and the Frog added most of the significant characters from the film, but there is still one major missing character, Ray. While he may not be added due to his death in the film, he is a significant part of the movie and is missing from the game right now.
5. Emile
Emile, as Remy's brother and the second-largest rat character, is a huge missing element of Ratatouille. The film has a lot more characters that could be worth adding, and honestly, I think enough for an entire second Ratatouille update.
Emile is a huge part of the film, and one of the only characters to actually appear in the Disney Parks. He would be a fun addition and will hopefully come to the game in the near future.
4. Shan Yu
Mulan characters have been added to the game in a way unlike any other film, slowly often in conjunction with a Lunar New Year update. Due to this, there are still several significant characters missing from the princess film, most significantly the villain Shan Yu. While he did not appear in the live-action remake, he is a significant part of the original film and it is weird for the film to be without its villain.
3. Ben/ Obi-Wan Kenobi
The game has been adding tons of characters from Star Wars in the last year, but there are still tons of big omissions. The biggest from films that have been featured in updates though is by far Ben/ Obi-Wan Kenobi.
While he might be a good choice for a future Prequel Trilogy update, his absence from the A New Hope update was strange given his significant role in the film.
2. Various Toy Story Characters
Despite being one of the biggest groups in the game, there are still tons of missing characters worth adding from all of the films. While some of them may not be added due to rights issues with the characters, like the Potato Heads and Slinky, others there is no reason for them to not be included.
Characters from Lotso to Wheezy and more could be great additions to the game, and give us another Toy Story permanent content update.
1. Edna Mode
Edna Mode is one of the most significant characters still not in the game. Despite playing a significant role in both Incredibles films she is still not featured in the game. As one of the most iconic characters in the series, this is a really strange omission.
