Slinky Dog Dash is the newest roller coaster in Walt Disney World and the most elaborately themed roller coaster based on the Toy Story franchise.
In honor of this modern hit ride, we are sharing 10 fun facts about this wonderful attraction in Toy Story land in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
1. Second Roller Coaster
This is the second type of roller coaster based on the Toy Story franchise to be built around the world.
2. Wheezy
The finale of this ride features a suprise appearance of an animatronic of Wheezy singing the classic song You've Got a Friend in Me.
3. Toy
The ride itself is themed as one giant toy set of a roller coaster that was put together by Andy in his backyard.
4. Outside
This was the first outside roller coaster in the history of Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This ride features two launches.

You can see various other lands and rides from the high points of this ride, including Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.
