Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is the first in a long line of Buzz Lightyear shooter-style dark rides located at Disney Parks all around the world. This ride has become a Tomorrowland classic in almost every Disney Park.

1. Preexisting Ride
This ride utilized a preexisting omnimover system that was previously used for rides like If You Had Wings and Delta Dreamflight.
2. Spin
You can control the spin of this ride, which allows you the ability to aim better with your weapon.
3. Entrance
The ride entrance uses a sign with the same basic design and shape as Delta Dreamflight, the ride that it replaced.
4. Every Park
This is one of few rides to have been located in every Disney Park around the world, although the Hong Kong Disneyland version has since closed.
5. TV Show
Some versions of this ride feature references to the Buzz Lightyear TV show, Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.
6. Name
This ride features various different names for the different versions around the world. The original Space Ranger Spin name is used only in the Magic Kingdom, with other versions using names from Astro Blasters, to Laser Blast, to Planet Rescue.
7. Scoring
There are various scoring levels you can earn depending on your skill in this attraction, with ranks ranging from Star Cadet to Galactic Hero.
8. Peoplemover
This ride is one of several in Tomorrowland that can be seen aboard the Peoplemover.
9. Ride Vehicle
The ride vehicles are themed as XP-37 Space Cruisers.
10. Toy Story
This was the first ride in the Disney Parks based on the Toy Story franchise.
