1. Other Name

Six Flags New England Drop Tower Ride

Before the park was owned by Six Flags, it was known as Riverside for most of its history.

2. Oldest Coaster

Thunderbolt Ride Entrance Wooden Roller Coaster Six Flags New England

The oldest currently operating roller coaster at the park is Thunderbolt, which is also the only wooden roller coaster in the park. It originally opened at the park in 1941.

3. DC Heroes

Many of the roller coasters and other rides at Six Flags New England are themed based on various DC superheroes.

4. Looney Tunes

5. Never Opened Roller Coaster

At one point this park was supposed to receive a highly themed roller coaster (by Six Flags standards) based on The Dark Knight. But issues with permits ended up canceling this ride after construction had started, and the same ride would later open Six Flags Mexico, where it still operates to this day.

6. Lost Lands

This park used to have various themed lands that have since been removed, including lands based on The Wiggles and Thomas The Tank Engine.

7. Two Boomerangs

10. Virtual Reality

Multiple rides at this park have experimented with virtual reality over the years, most notably even the park's flagship ride, Superman The Ride.
