The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Highway Sign Disney's Hollywood Studios

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror Road Sign Walt Disney World

Every single location accessible to the public in the Walt Disney World Resort is intricately themed to keep you immersed in the magical Disney bubble from when you enter the resort to your final exit from the parks.

Even advertising throughout the resort is elaborately intricate and unlike anything you would see anywhere else.

Disney uses a few of their main roads in order to advertise key attractions in different Disney parks with elaborate displays, mostly for attractions that were initially added to Walt Disney World in the late 1990s and early 2000s.

One of these promotes the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

This ride is now the icon of the park, and one of the best rides that Disney has ever designed in any of their parks around the world. This predates the Hollywood Tower Hotel becoming the icon of the park however, being initially intended to only promote the then new drop tower ride opening in the Sunset Boulevard section of the park.

It features a moving, dangling elevator vehicle resembling the one featured in the ride.

This is a nice little detail that connects you to the fact that you are in fact in Walt Disney World despite the fact you are doing something as mundane as driving or riding a bus when you see it.

For kids, it builds anticipation for what they are going to experience, giving them a hint of what they are going to experience inside the actual parks.

This is a fun little detail, and its a shame Disney has stopped building things like this for new additions as it was a fun permanent way to promote rides to people about to visit the parks.
