Extinct Disney Parks Tribute
Cars Land is one of the best-themed areas of Disney California Adventure, and during the temporary Pixar Fest celebration it got some added magic based on various other Pixar films all tied in with the Pixar universe.
The entrance of the land got car-themed versions of Woody and Buzz Lightyear in front of the iconic entrance sign of the land, complete with a constant Photopass photographer to take pictures with the characters.
One of the buildings of Cars Land was given a series of Pixcar films, posters of various Pixar films designed to look like they took place in the Cars universe.
These decorations were temporary creative additions that perfectly fit the festival without taking away from the immersive nature of the land that is the best element of Cars Land. We will likely never see these decorations again, but they were a great temporary part of the land that are a fun little part of its history.
