Figment has become one of the most iconic Disney Parks original characters of all time. Being featured in the Journey Into Imagination attraction the lovable purple dragon has become the unofficial mascot of Epcot.
Over the years Figment has met in various forms and today we are paying tribute to his most recent massive meet and greet character.
Around the opening of the most recent version of the attraction, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, another section of the Imagination Pavilion also opened up.
Figment's Place opened as a place to meet with Figment inside the park, now appearing in massive form, towering over most guests. It was a rainbow-filled location with walls inspired by the neighboring attraction and its most famous inhabitant.
This would be short-lived, but Figment would also wander the Imagination Pavilion for several years, going inside the shops and exploring the adjacent gardens.
While you can no longer meet Figment, he remains just as popular today as he ever was, and hopefully he will come back to the park in this or another form someday soon.
In the meantime, you can still see him in his namesake attraction Journey Into Imagination With Figment.
The old Figment's Place is still a place to meet your favorite Disney characters, or at least was prior to COVID19. Maybe someday Figment will move back in here.
