Plaza Inn

Plaza Inn

The Plaza Inn has been a popular restaurant at the end of Main Street USA for most of its history. This Disneyland restaurant offers two great and very different dining experiences throughout the day. In this guide, we will help you decide if either is the right choice for your trip to the Disneyland Resort.

Minnie & Friends Breakfast in the Park

This is probably the best character meal in any US Disney park. You get the same breakfast buffet as at any other buffet character meal but with more characters than any other meal Disney currently offers.

I'm serious there can be up to 10 characters here and they vary from day today.

Food

The food is a best of out of the items you would expect at any Disney breakfast buffet. Everything from Mickey Waffles to scrambled eggs to bakery items. You can keep going up as much as you want, and often the characters will interact with you as you are choosing your food.

Characters

This is what you pay for. Tons of characters. I mean you might find it hard to have time to eat with the number of characters visiting your table but in my mind, that is a good problem to have. Here is a list of all the characters I have personally seen either when I've eaten here or walking by the restaurant:

Guaranteed

Minnie Mouse

Common

Winnie the Pooh
Eeyore
Tigger
Piglet
Rafiki
Max Goof
Captain Hook
Fairy Godmother

Uncommon

Rabbit
Perla
Suzy

Lunch/ Dinner

For these two meals the restaurant transitions to a counter service restaurant where you order at several counters before purchasing after getting all your food and going to your seats. I could mention several great foods that I could write about like the pasta options. But this restaurant is known for one thing and one thing only...

THE FRIED CHICKEN

Depending on who you talk to this may be the best fried chicken in the world. I don't know about that but it is amazing and the best thing you can get here, and one of the best things at any resturant at the Disneyland Resort.

If you are at all a fan of fried chicken you should get it here.

Ok but in all honesty, I have not had a bad meal here and all of the options are some of the best food you can get in a theme park counter service restaurant.
