Epcot is currently undergoing a massive transformation, specifically to the Future World section of the park. Previously we had received concept art for the central spine project portion of the redesign, but so far we had heard nothing of what would happen to the park entrance.
That all changed today when Disney revealed new concept art for the redesigned entrance to the beloved park.
The Leave a Legacy (tombstones) will be moved just outside the park, allowing for all new gardens to replace them. It also appears that these gardens will include locations for some of Epcot's topiaries, with characters like Mickey Mouse and Winnie the Pooh being seen in the side gardens.
Now, classic Epcot Center fans, there are two great things for you in this concept are. One, a version of the original glass pillar fountain is returning to the park! Also, it appears the park is going to more prominently feature its original logo, it is seen here on flags throughout the new entrance.
Also notable is the mention of further changes in the center of Future World as well as the continued inclusion of all existing pavilions in the concept art.
Along with this was another new announcement, The Disney Play Pavilion replacing Wonders of Life.
