Top 5 Classic Disney Channel Shows To Binge Watch On Disney Plus

Disney Plus

The Disney Channel has produced tons of great content ever since it was created, enjoyed by generations of children. One of the great things about Disney Plus is being able to revisit some of these classic shows that have been off the air for years.

Here are five of the best classic Disney Channel shows that you can binge watch right now on Disney Plus. We are only counting shows that stopped making new episodes before 2010.

5. Out of the Box

Out of the Box is one of the few Playhouse Disney shows that ended up on Disney Plus. It is a wonderful show for preschool children that is high energy and creative, and just as fun to watch now as it was then. If you grew up with this show it is a nostalgic journey to rewatch an episode or two now.

4. The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh

This is one of multiple shows featuring Winnie The Pooh, but The New Adventures stands apart from the rest. For one, it is more American than most Pooh stories, and its setting is not limited to only the Hundred Acre Woods. Each episode features your favorite characters on a different fun adventure that creates a fun original show using some classic characters.

3. Kim Possible

While Disney may have recently tried to reboot this show in a live action format, the original animated show and its several associated films still reigns supreme. Featuring a teenage secret agent Kim Possible and her best friend/ sidekick Ron Stoppable it was a fun action/ superhero show with a great set of side characters and recurring villains. This is the rare Disney Channel animated show that tells a full story that changes significantly from the begining of the show to the end, and it features a crossover with a later entry on this list.

2. Lizzie McGuire

This show featured Hillary Duff as the titular character whose various antics the series follows. It used a mix of live action and animation to comedic effect that made it something special on Disney Channel in the early 2000s. Disney is reportedly eyeing a reboot of this series following an older Lizzie and it is easy to see why. It is just a pure fun show that is easy to fall for.

1. Lilo and Stitch The Series

Lilo and Stitch The Series fills in the gaps between the third and forth Stitch films and each episode follows the iconic duo having to track down and tame one of Jumba's misbehaving experiments, numbers 1 through 625 (and even 627). It also featured the first appearance of popular Stitch character Angel, often seen as Stitch's female equivalent and featured in the show as his love interest.
