The Disneyland Monorail is one of the most iconic attractions in any Disney Park around the world, taking you on a journey above the original Disneyland.

1. 3 Monorails
There are currently three different monorails in use in the Disneyland Resort, red, orange, and blue.
2. Disney California Adventure
The Disneyland Monorail passes over Disney California Adventure, but does not have a station within the park.
3. Outside The Park
This is the only ride in Disneyland with an entrance located outside the actual park, as there is a station inside Downtown Disneyland.
4. Round Trips
You used to be able to take a trip on the Monorail without a ticket to Disneyland, so long as you did not get out in Tomorrowland.
5. Beyond the Berm
You can see outside of Disneyland on this attraction, being able to see not only other sections of the Disneyland Resort, but also Harbor Boulevard.
6. 5th Generation
The current monorails, the Mark VII, are the fifth generation of monorails to be utilized on the Disneyland Monorail system.
7. Front Seat
Even after Walt Disney World stopped, Disneyland continued allowing guests to ride the Disneyland Monorail in the front car.
8. Monorail Overlays
The monorail has had various temporary overlays over the years to promote Disney films and new attractions.
9. Exclusive Element
This is the only Disney monorail system in the world that features a stop inside the actual theme park.
10. Fireworks
This ride cannot be operated during the nightly fireworks spectaculars at Disneyland.
