A growing trend in Disney Parks around the world is to make social media-friendly walls to take pictures with. A lot of preexisting walls joined this trend and Disney takes any opportunity to bring a new wall to the park.
This trend really started with the purple wall in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom, so it makes sense as the land was getting repainted they would attempt to add more Instagramable walls to the land during its retheme.
One of these would be a new futuristic design featuring multiple shades of blue in a large repeating pattern.
