Lake Compounce has just announced that as a result of damage sustained by Tropical Storm Isaias, which the park shared photos of earlier today.
The park reportedly took a lot of damage in the storm which knocked down many trees statewide across Connecticut.
The park also reportedly is without power with no sign of it being restored in the near future, which would prevent the park from being able to reopen
Lake Compounce had opened late this season as a result of the ongoing COVID19 pandemic, and now is potentially facing another extended closure. Hopefully, it is able to reopen before the end of the 2020 summer season which is fast approaching.
No specifics were given on the damage to any individual attraction.
