Expedition Everest was the first major roller coaster at Disney's Animal Kingdom, and gave the park a unique thrill attraction that remains unrivaled in theming and intensity for a coaster of its level to this day.
This coaster takes you into the Himalayas where you suddenly get driven off course and into a battle for survival with the mystical Yeti who controls the mountain peaks.
The coaster includes both forward and backward sections, large drops, and some of the best theming Disney has ever done on a coaster (even with Disco Yeti).
It also has one of the best queue lines ever by Disney

There are no inversions on this coaster but it remains very intense, switching between forwards and backward throughout the ride and featuring a launch. The theming could also be frightening for small children.
