Avengers Campus is coming soon (hopefully) to Disney California Adventure, but it is hardly the first time Marvel characters have appeared in the park. A rotating set of tributes have come in and out of the park ever since shortly after Disney bought the famous comic company, that is finally leading to the new land.
One of the main locations for these tributes was in the Marvel meet and greet location in Hollywoodland where Captain America and Spiderman met. This featured an ever-growing set of tributes to Marvel films and attractions from around the world.
In this meet and greet location, to celebrate the release of Avengers Infinity War, the Daily Bugle newspaper stand got a newspaper themed based on the opening scene of the movie, reporting on the initial fight between Spiderman, Iron Man, and the Thanos ship that came to get one of the infinity stones.
It features a comical headline and an image from the movie. Its a nice little tribute making this small area feel like it is taking place in the MCU in real-time.
Hopefully, we see more tie ins to current films in the park in the new Avengers Campus area when it opens.
