Taran Killam Ham4Ham Perfromance

Following the release of a professionally filmed recording of the Broadway production featuring much of the original Broadway cast, Hamilton An American Musical is more popular now than it has ever been.

Hamilton premiered on Broadway as one of the most successful musicals of all time, being sold out for months in advance.

But the show did offer a way to give anyone who wanted to come a way to see a performance, often including members of the cast just outside the Richard Rodgers Theatre where the show was performed on Broadway.

Just before the lottery for front row tickets Hamilton offered before performance, there would be a performance outside the theater for people entering the Ham4Ham lottery.

Today we are paying tribute to a performance involving Taran Killam of a reimagined christmas carol just after the holiday season featuring facts about Hamilton that were not covered in the actual musical.

Taran Killam played King George III in the show at the time, and this gave people who weren't going to get to see the actual show to at least see a performance by someone in the show even if they lost the lottery, and today we are sharing this performance with you even as Broadway is dark for an extended period of time.

Eventually these performances would end up canceled due to their own popularity as they closed down the street, but they remain a fun part of Hamilton history, and something nice to look back on fondly for those who experienced them.
