Disney Junior characters are some of the few television characters that make their way into the Disney Parks, but due to their nature as characters from TV, the amount of time they spend in the Disney Parks is extremely limited.
So many characters have been lost due to this, and today we are paying tribute to two of them, Jojo and Goliath.
Jojo and Goliath were characters on an early Playhouse Disney show, Jojo's Circus. This was a claymation show featuring a general Circus theme where all of the characters lived and worked in Circus Town.
It was an early hit for the network, and the first new TV show to be added to Playhouse Disney Live On Stage after it opened.
The characters made frequent appearances in the park during the early years of the shows run on Playhouse Disney and eventually Disney Junior.
They had their own meet and greet location in Disney's MGM/ Hollywood Studios and also appeared in the character meal for Disney's preschool characters.
They even appeared in the Stars and Cars Motorcade parade at Disney's Hollywood Studios for years.
Eventually as the show wanned in popularity and eventually went off the air these characters were retired and replaced with more modern hits from Disney Junior.
It is unlikely these two characters will ever be seen again even at special events. The show has been off the air for years, and its lack of a presence on Disney+ shows that Disney has left this show behind along with other former Disney Jr. shows from Bear In The Big Blue House to Rolie Polie Olie.
