Given the recent events regarding the potential permanent closure of Ellens Stardust Diner in the Times Square area of New York City, we decided to pay tribute to the classic iconic location with a great performance by one of the singing waitresses.
This is a performance of the song Listen from the film version of Dreamgirls on the balcony of the second floor of the diner.
The diner is on Broadway, so show tunes are an obvious constant feature and this is an amazing performance of a classic song added on to the film version of an iconic Broadway musical.
This restaurant gave struggling performers a place to showcase their talents while trying to achieve their dreams.
