Venus Vortex Delayed to 2021 at Lake Compounce

Lake Compounce Venus Vortex Water Slide

Lake Compunce has now announced that their new attraction planned to open this summer has been delayed until the 2021 season due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The slide was supposed to be one of the first of its kind, and was supposed to open in a newly refurbished section of the Crocodile Cove water park.

This comes after we reported that all the pieces of the slide were on site and the footers had been put in place.

It is unknown if Lake Compounce, the oldest continuously operating amusement park in the US will open at all this year, although they are still going to attempt a shorter season should it become safe.

Nevertheless, season passes have been extended through the 2021 season due to the shortened season this year.
