Disney's Hollywood Studios has changed a lot over the past few years, and it looks almost nothing like the park it used to be. A lot of these changes were for the better, giving us amazing new attractions from Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway to Star Wars Rise of the Resistance.
But unfortunately, sometimes great things in the park need to leave to make way for better things to come.
Today we are looking back at the animatronic Luxo Jr. that used to do performances in Pixar Place. It was a part of the land early on when Toy Story Midway Mania opened at the park. The animatronic would perform several short shows throughout the day where it would come out on a balcony and dance around a little bit.
This was removed early in the life of Pixar Place, and now the entire Toy Story version of Pixar Place has been replaced with an Incredibles themed mini area.
A Luxo Jr. animatronic has since made its way to Pixar Pier, but there is no sign that it will ever return to Disney's Hollywood Studios.
