The Lamplight Lounge was one of the best parts of Pixar Pier when it opened at Disney California Adventure, offering amazing theming on top of several wonderful food offerings being added to the park.
Today we are reviewing one of the best dessert items at the lounge, the Lamplight Lounge Donuts.
These donuts are only served in the downstairs portion of the restaurant, but are one of the best things at the location, and go well as a great ending to any meal you can get there.
They are served warm and fluffy, and practically melt in your mouth, with the dough disintegrating in a wonderful way.
They come served in a little box covered in sugar with two dipping sauces, chocolate and raspberry. While the dipping sauces are fine, I would not recommend them as the donuts are good enough on their own. This is not that the sauces are bad, they are actually quite good, but the donuts are that great without them.
