To celebrate Halloween, the spookiest day of the year, we are sharing a look back on the projections of Mickey's Not So Spooky Spectacular, the new fireworks show that premiered at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party last year.
While the show itself was uneven, the projections were the real highlight, adding a new element to Halloween nighttime spectaculars at the park, covering Cinderella castle in everything from spider webs to a ton of Halloween candy.
The story of the show saw Cinderella Castle turned into a haunted house that was explored by the characters from Mickey and the gang to Jack Skellington and Zero.
This gave a new tool for Disney to use in bringing you into the world of the show, along with the music and pyrotechnics
It is uncertain when or if this show will ever return, so let us pay tribute to the show, however short lived it was, and look forward to more normal Halloweens to come in future years.
