Disney Villians typically only appear in the Disney Parks around Halloween time, helping to make the season feel extra special. But some find a permanent place in the Disney Parks all year round to terrorize guests in their own unique way. One of these villians who has found a permanent home in the Disney Parks is Dr. Facilier from Princess and the Frog.
Being from New Orleans, this character found a permanent home in New Orleans Square in Disneyland, where hit fit in like a glove. He would wander the streets exploring the shops and looking for his next victim. Sometimes he would even interact with other characters in the land like Princess Tiana or Captain Redd.
Odds are his appearances will only increase with the upcoming Splash Mountain retheme based on Princess and the Frog coming to Disney World and Disneyland.
At Disney World, he has become a staple of Halloween entertainment, having his own segment of Hocus Pocus Spelltacular, the biggest Halloween stage show at Walt Disney World.
Dr. Facilier is one of the most popular Disney Villains and remains a regular all around the world, and an incredibly fun character to meet.
