Mickey and Friends characters are some of the most popular characters in the Disney Parks, and over the years they have appeared with countless costumes and outfits that are special and unique to various lands, parks, and celebrations. Today we are paying tribute to a special costume worn by Donald Duck when he used to meet in Frontierland in the Magic Kingdom.
Donald Duck used to meet guests along the shores of the Rivers of America, and when he appeared in the land he would have an exclusive outfit themed based on the land.
This was a special appearance of Donald that made you want to meet him multiple times to catch him in his various outfits.
He would appear in a raccoon style hat and a western style shirt evocative of many classic westerns, notably Disney's own adaptations of Davy Crockett.
This special outfit stopped making appearances when Donald Duck began appearing elsewhere in the park, and it is somewhat unlikely we will see Donald appear in this outfit in the Magic Kingdom or any other Disney Park.
