Disneyland To Remove Hell Scene From Mr. Toad's Wild Ride

Hell Monster Creature Mr. Toad's Wild Ride Disneyland

Disney has just revealed that Mr. Toad's Wild Ride in Disneyland will be getting an extensive refurbishment similar to the one that transformed Snow White's Scary Adventures into Snow White's Enchanted Wish. This will modernize the attraction, and will notably involve the removal of the iconic Hell scene.

For anyone unfamiliar, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride since opening alongside Disneyland has ended with a scene in which Toad and you are killed by an oncoming train, and then transported to be tortured for eternity in Hell.

Disney has spent the past few years reimagining elements of various Fantasyland dark rides, removing some outdated elements, and toning down scarier elements. This is likely the latest part of this larger project.

  1. You should archive this article as it populates search results for people who actually want updates on the attraction --- Way to raise hopes and waste time a year after the "joke" was posted. Super lame.

  2. I am just wondering why in God's name they thought a hell scene was a good idea.
