When the Paint the Night Electrical Parade came to the Disneyland Resort, it got a few additional parade floats added on to a clone of the original Hong Kong Disneyland version, but one of these new floats did not last very long at the park.
When the parade first came to Disneyland park as part of the Diamond Celebration, it included an exclusive Frozen-themed float.
The float featured a recreation of Elsa's Ice Palace that changed colors between various shades of blue that towered over many of the buildings of Disneyland.
Elsa and Anna could both be seen waving at guests from the balcony of the float looking as they appeared in the first film.
Olaf also had a special section of the float behind the ice castle, appearing amidst a snow-filled frozen landscape.
The float would not last as long as the parade itself. When Paint the Night moved to Disney California Adventure, this float had to be removed as it could not make it under the trolley wires on Buena Vista Street and Hollywoodland.
It ended up being replaced with an Incredibles themed float for Pixar Fest, giving the parade the same number of floats, but one that better fit its park.
