It has been widely reported that the two previous live-action versions of Spiderman will be appearing in the upcoming Tom Holland-led Spiderman No Way Home film, with Tobey McGuire and Andrew Garfield both returning to the role. But our sources are now reporting that there will be an additional Spiderman appearing in the film.
This additional Spiderman will be the version that appeared in the Broadway musical based on the Spiderman franchise, Spiderman Turn Off The Dark.
This production ran on Broadway for over three years and consistently made national news throughout the run. It told a reimagined version of the Spiderman origin story featuring Green Goblin as the primary villain.
It is not clear who will play the version of the character on film as multiple actors played the role during the Broadway production, including Reeve Carney who originated the role and is currently known for playing Orpheus in the Broadway production of Hadestown.
