Star Wars Rise of the Resistance has had a lot of changes in the boarding policies but we know have an official release from Disney.
Starting now the boarding group's system on the My Disney Experience app will only be opening up at official park opening to prevent situations where the ride is already at capacity shortly after opening.
Guests will now be held at Hollywood Boulevard before opening, with only the stores and coffee shops open prior to the official opening.
There will also now be back up boarding groups that are only given out when all the boarding groups have filled. They do not guarantee a ride, but can give you one should there be extra time at the end of the night when all boarding groups have been given a chance to ride.
This should make the system fairer, and prevent people from lining up hours before official park opening.
