During the run of the Summer of Heroes at Disney California Adventure, the park was filled with temporary fun based on various superheroes featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in honor of the premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy Mission: Breakout.
One of the best temporary additions came in the form of a temporary display of film props and costumes in the park.
This display was located in the lobby of the theater that is currently showing Mickey's Philharmagic. At the time it was showing a Marvel-themed short film for the celebration.
In the center of the preshow rooms, you could see various costumes for the main Avengers cast.
Beneath the costume you could see a display telling you what film the costume was used in, with some displays featuring pieces used in multiple films.
Various props were also featured in the preshow room including Thor's Hammer and Hawkeye's Quiver.
This gave you a lot to look at while waiting for the show, and was arguably even more interesting than the show itself.
This was a nice temporary celebration of Marvel to help the series becoming a part of the park permanently, giving guests a chance to see part of how the movies they loved so much were made in the first place.
