The Show Will Not Go On: Shanghai Disneyland Cancels Performances of Beauty and the Beast Due to Outbreak
Shanghai Disneyland has already announced the park will not open due to the outbreak currently happening across China, but that is not the only significant closure at the resort due to the current crisis.
The full production of Beauty and the Beast performed in Disneytown, the resorts equivalent of a Downtown Disney/ Disney Springs style shopping area will not perform during the period that the park is closed.
All performances will be canceled.
This is being done to prevent the spread of the virus and so the current outbreak will hopefully short-lived.
No timeframe was given for the reopening of this show or the actual park.
