What's Coming Next for TPE in 2020

Theme Parks and Entertainment 2020 Banner

2019 was a milestone year for us here at TPE in more ways than one. But we still have a lot more in store for 2020. What do we have in store? Well, let's find out!

Theme Park History

That's right, we are starting a new series here at TPE which will play out on both our website and our Youtube Channel. We will be detailing the history of longstanding attractions at the Disney Parks and even beyond! Starting with the History of Snow White's Scary Adventures Disneyland.

New Parks

We are making it a goal in 2020 to visit more parks throughout the year. We will be making a return trip to Walt Disney World, but reporting will also happen from Lake Compounce, as well as a few surprises throughout the year.

Conclusion of Epcot's Cancelled Attractions

That's right, our most popular series of articles will be coming to an end in the next year, but don't worry, we have some great articles still in store for you over the next year before we conclude our most popular series. We have plans for what will replace it, which will be...

Disney's Animal Kingdom's Cancelled Attractions

Replacing Epcot's Canceled Attractions will be a new series following the canceled attractions from Disney's Animal Kingdom. This will be found on the Attractions From Neverland page and will be released on a weekly basis on Tuesdays once the Epcot series comes to a close later this month. Stay tuned for a premiere date.

Launch of Theme Park Discussion

After the successful launch of Database Disney last year, we thought it might be nice to try another new venture in the new year. Introducing Theme Park Discussion, a forum about additions to Theme Parks all around the world. Open Beta Testing begins now, with a planned official launch on February 1st if all goes as planned.

A (possible) International Suprise

Our long-time readers know we have always focused on the Disney Parks in the US. Well, that may change in the next year. Plans are not finalized yet, but stay tuned. We may have some exciting news to share with you soon!

It's a #TPEChristmas

We are going to Walt Disney World for Christmas! That's right, we are excited to announce that for the first time TPE will be visiting the most magical place on earth for the holiday season. I am personally incredibly excited as the last time I was at Disney for the holidays, there was still the Lights of Winter at Epcot and the Osborne Spectacular.

Return of Minecraft Disney Parks

One of our early series here at Theme Parks and Entertainment was Minecraft Disney Parks, showcasing recreations of Disney Parks and attractions in Minecraft. Well even without a new entry in over a year it has remained one of our most popular series, so we figured it was time to revisit it. You may have noticed Big Thunder Mountain finally getting an article in early December, over a year after it was announced. Well, more is definitely on the way, including New Orleans Square, 1980s Future World and more!

Whole New World of Vacation Planning

We bring you news and secrets of theme parks, but one thing we have always lacked is vacation planning tips and tricks. That is going to change as in the next few months we will roll out vacation planning guides for Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort. Already existing guides will also be updated to be sure that they are up to date. You may have already seen some of these changes.

Continuing What You Love

We are still going to be here, doing what you love all through the next year. Our beloved Disney Photo of the Week series will continue, as will Theater Thursdays, and our reporting on news from theme parks around the world. We will also, as always, keep you up to date on the latest news and rumors from theme parks across the globe, as well as helping you plan your trips to Theme Parks across the US, and sharing secrets of them with you. TPE is here to stay and growing faster than ever.
