It is not a secret that Encanto has completely blown up and become a big hit since it was released on Disney Plus. It's a pretty safe bet that at some point in the future, probably not too far from now it is going to come to Disney Magic Kingdoms game. So let's speculate on what characters are going to come to the game whenever an update based on Encanto is released.
This is not based on any current rumors or insider information, just speculation based on the game's history.
It is worth mentioning that I don't think that the entire family can be added. The most that a game update typically adds in a single update is seven characters so they're going to have to limit the number of family members that make it in the game. So let's talk about who's probably gonna make it and who's not.
The two characters that are the safest bets are probably Mirabelle and Abuela. Mirabelle's the main character any update would include her, and Abuela is the source of most of the conflict in the film and is really at the center of the most emotional moments of the film, so she really would have to be included beyond them.
Bruno is definitely the next most likely character, being the subject of the most popular song from the movie and again probably being the most plot-essential character outside of Abuela and Mirabelle.
Beyond this trio, I think the most likely characters to be added would most likely be Mirabelle's siblings, Luisa and Isabella. They are two of the biggest characters in the movie and also have their own songs which means they are probably the more likely characters to get in the game.
That brings us up to five characters, and beyond this, I think the choices get a bit more tricky. There are a lot of members of the family, and most of them have developed a significant fanbase. But not everyone will be in at least the first Encanto update.
Beyond the already mentioned characters, the next most likely character would probably be Camilo, as he and his shape-shifting ability are pretty significant to several of the most iconic moments in the film.
Next, I think it's difficult to pick who else would be added, as I don't think the entire older generation could make it into the update. Again with the characters discussed already the update would include six characters, and the biggest Disney Magic Kingdoms updates are typically around seven. If the update were to include everyone else and their spouses there would be well over 10 characters.
So out of the people left I think the most likely to be added beyond the six already discussed would probably be Pepa and Felix, Antonio, or Dolores.
Pepa and Felix would likely be added as a couple, given their role in We Don't Talk About Bruno, which could make them more likely choices. But with Felix not having powers they could both be left out.
Antonio is a fan-favorite character with a fun power, but he really isn't essential to the plot. Also, as a kid without being a part of a pair, he could be a good Tower Challenge addition later on.
Finally, Dolores also is a part of We Don't Talk About Bruno, but as an individual character she, like Antonio, could be a good Tower Challenge addition in the future.
Encanto will at some point become a part of Disney Magic Kingdoms, and all of these characters could make great additions to the game.
