Walt Disney World is an amazing place to spend a vacation, but due to its climate it also gets quite a large amount of rain, and you are almost certain to face this rain as a part of your vacation. So what are you to do when that rain inevitably makes an impact on your trip.

Here are some tips to make the best of a rainy day in Walt Disney World, and some of the best locations to visit during the rain.

Tip 1: Visit The Land Pavilion

The Land Pavilion in Epcot is the best place in all of Walt Disney World to be in during the rain at Walt Disney World, with three attractions to experience (Living With The Land, Soarin Around The World, and Awesome Planet), as well as a restaurant and shop. There is more than enough to spend several hours in this building without needing to go outside.

Tip 2: Stay In The Park

Many people immediately leave the park as soon as rain begins. Most storms at Walt Disney World only last a few hours on the long end, with many being even shorter. If you are willing to brave the weather (ideally with a poncho or umbrella) you can enjoy the parks with shorter lines than at almost any other time. Get in a line that has been longer that day and enjoy shorter wait times.

Tip 3: Visit Disney Springs

If you do not want to stay in the parks, Disney Springs could be a great way to spend a rainy day at Walt Disney World. The main elements of shopping district are all inside meaning you will only have to face the rain while switching buildings. It can be a great way to buy some souvenirs from your vacation while remaining dry.

Tip 4: Explore The Resort Hotels

Many of the Disney resort hotels have much to see and do, and exploring them in the rain can be a good way to see some different parts of the Walt DisneyWorld that most people miss on their trip. The hotels are free for anyone to explore and can be reached by bus, monorail, boat, or Skyliner from any of the theme parks, and are all home to their own restaurants, shops, and even entertainment that is often missed by people not staying at a Disney hotel.

Tip 5: Enjoy a Meal

An afternoon rainstorm can be an amazing time to enjoy a lengthy meal. Storms most commonly happen in the middle of the afternoon meaning you can enjoy a meal at most of the restaurants of Walt Disney World that are not of higher profile are not busy, and you can eat without having to wait too long for a table, and stay out of the rain.
