Body Wars at the time of Westcot's design was a relatively new attraction. As the first major thrill ride at Epcot it has been a popular attraction in its early days, and as such was a natural addition to the newly designed park at the Disneyland Resort.

Due to space limitations, the Wonders of Life Pavilion would not be cloned to Westcot, but the single attraction Body Wars did make the cut, and would have been built as part of one of the smaller pavilions combining elements from multiple pavilions from Walt Disney World.

Had this been built, it would have meant the same ride system would have been used at both Disneyland, for Star Tours, and Westcot, for Body Wars.

Body Wars ended up not having the staying power of most Disney rides, quickly lowering in popularity alongside the rest of Wonders of Life, and eventually closing forever at the original Epcot in 2007. If built, especially so close to the original Star Tours, it is likely this ride would have suffered the same fate.

Westcot was never built, and a second motion simulator attraction of any theme was never built at the Disneyland Resort, until Millenium Falcon Smugglers Run was built alongside Star Wars Galaxy's Edge over two decades later.

Today Body Wars is a mostly forgotten footnote in Disney history, but it could have been a much bigger attraction than it was had Westcot been built.
