Every morning at Disneyland, guests typically run to a few major rides like Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, Space Mountain, or Peter Pan's Flight. But there are far more rides that can be fun to experience in the early morning.
Here are a few underrated rides to rope drop in the morning at Disneyland.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
The Storybook Canal Boats is a slow-moving boat ride at Disneyland, but it also has a hidden secret only available to the first riders each day. If you are the first group at the attraction, you get to put your name in a special book at the attraction. It is a nice hidden detail only for people who know this secret.
Jungle Cruise
If you run straight to Jungle Cruise in the morning you could be in for a special experience. If you, as happens on many mornings, are one of only a few groups to go to this ride first thing, you could be lucky enough to have your own boat on Jungle Cruise. This is one of the most incredible experiences one can have at the Disney Parks, basically having an individual Skipper for your ride, directing all of their jokes at you.
Disneyland Railroad
Some mornings, a special car runs on the Disneyland Railroad, the Lilly Belle. Typically this car is only open to VIP guests, and a lucky few guests that are lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. One of the best ways to try to experience this is to be on the first train of the day at Main Street USA station, although this is not a guarantee. Even if you are only going to be riding the regular train cars, you get a chance to ride around Disneyland while it is relatively empty, which is an incredibly magical experience.
