Disney Parks Character Tribute
Terk is one of the main characters in Disney's animated version of Tarzan, and she has been one of the main characters to appear in the Disney Parks since the film came out.
She became a character that made regular appearances during the early years of Disney's Animal Kingdom. As a gorilla, she was the perfect character to meet guests in the park alongside many real-life animals in exhibits.
As the years went on, however, it became rarer and rarer to see Terk and other characters from Tarzan in the Disney Parks, with her regular meet and greet in Disney's Animal Kingdom eventually being replaced with only sporadic meet and greets, often unplanned throughout the park.
Eventually, she could only be seen in special events and holiday parties, and that is currently the only place that Terk can be seen at the current moment.
