Extinct Amusement Park Tribute
Galaxi was a classic steel roller coaster that until 2017 operated at Palace Playland in Old Orchard Beach Maine. This roller coaster was one of the major attractions found at the waterfront park, towering over the other flat rides.
Featuring a purple track and white supports this ride was a part of the classic Galaxi model of roller coaster that had dozens of identical roller coasters built at amusement parks around the world.

The ride which originally opened at the park in 1994 had previously operated at another park, the defunct Peony Park in Nebraska before being moved to the park, as the roller coaster was designed to be portable, although this was the only time it was ever moved.
This was a nice ride that is surely fondly remembered by those who experienced it.
