Slinky Dog Dash Last Drop Roller Coaster Disney's Hollywood Studios

Walt Disney World is filled with some of the most popular and well known rides and attractions in the world. But not all of the rides at the four parks deserve their level of popularity.

We take you five of the most overrated rides at Walt Disney World. This isn't to say that these rides are bad, none of the rides we are going to discuss are bad, just that they are overrated compared to what they are.

1. Slinky Dog Dash

Slinky Dog Dash is the newest roller coaster in Walt Disney World, and it constantly has one of the longest lines at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is a fun outdoor roller coaster and one of two roller coasters in its park. But the lines it gets are insane for the ride that it is.

This ride is a wonderful family coaster, but due to the overall lack of ride through attractions in Disney's Hollywood Studios it is treated as a much better ride than it actually is.

2. Mission Space

Mission Space is currently the only intense simulator attraction at Epcot. Featuring much of the same technology used in actual simulators used by astronauts, this is one of the most intense experiences in any Disney Park around the world.

But there was one problem, this ride wasn't very good. Despite its high profile in the park, both versions of this attraction are not the best attractions even in this one park. The Mars mission is so intense it is unrideable for many guests, and the Earth mission is so tame it is boring.

3. Space Mountain

Space Mountain was the first roller coaster at Walt Disney World, and when it opened it was an amazing ride. A highly themed indoor roller coaster at a scale that was insanely rare at the time, this roller coaster was like nothing else out there. But, decades later, this ride is no longer the amazing experience that it once was.

This ride has become increasingly rough over the years, to the point that on some rides it is more painful than enjoyable. It also is quite tame by modern standards, and practically every other roller coaster at Walt Disney World is more intense.

4. Peter Pan's Flight

Peter Pan's Flight has this special place in the Disney fandom, above any similar dark ride. More popular than Snow White's Scary Adventures, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and every other ride build in a similar style and scale. This ride is not bad, far from it, it is just popular far beyond its own size.

5. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

This is by far the most overrated ride at Walt Disney World. It is a great ride, but by no means deserves the insane status that it has in Walt Disney World. It is relatively short, and doesn't feature any major thrills, but it typically has one of the longest lines in all of the Magic Kingdom, if not the entire Walt Disney World Resort.

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is a solid ride, but it isn't an E-Ticket attraction. It is a mid tier roller coaster with one great dark ride scene.
