Come From Away is a wonderful modern musical that shows the positive connections and perseverance of humanity amid the tragedy of 9/11 in an amazing feel-good musical.

This musical is based on the events of 9/11, but it does not follow the more famous tragic events. Instead, it follows the people on international flights who were diverted and stranded in Gander Canada, and their experience.

Despite the smaller cast size, this musical features dozens of characters as each actor/ actress plays many characters.

Unlike most Broadway shows, this musical had multiple runs outside of New York City with much of what would eventually be the Broadway cast before premiering in the city.
