This area of the park received a massive redesign in anticipation of the opening of Star Wars Galaxy's Edge.
2. Fantasmic
Various elements of Rivers of America are used nightly for performances of Fantasmic, making the entire area a part of the experience.
3. Native Americans
While on various attractions in this section of the park you come across a Native American tribe that has been updated and made more elaborate over the years.
4. Riverboat
The classic style riverboat that travels around the Rivers of America is known as the Mark Twain Riverboat, named after the famous author who at one time worked on a similar riverboat.
5. Sailing Ship Columbia
You can also take a ride around the Rivers of America onboard the Sailing Ship Columbia, a tribute to the first American ship that circumnavigated the world.
6. Tom Sawyer
The Mark Twain Riverboat is not the only tribute to the famous American author in this section of the park. The Rivers of America surrounds the Tom Sawyer Island section of the park, which is found on an island in this area.
7. Railroad
The northern border of the Rivers of America is the Disneyland Railroad, which passes above the river.
8. Wildlife
You can find various figures of different wilderness creatures along the shores of the Rivers of America, including a beaver and some mountain lions.
9. Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland
Along the shores of the Rivers of America, you can also find some remnants of an early Disneyland attraction, Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland.
10. Race
Each year, it is a tradition for teams of cast members to race the Davy Crockett Explorer Canoes around the Rivers of America.
