Disney rides, just like all rides, break down from time to time. Disney normally tries to avoid acknowledging when their rides breakdown, but there is one ride that you can see in its naked glory only when it is broken down.
When Space Mountain at the Magic Kingdom breaks down, you can see it with all the lights on from the Peoplemover.
You get a great view of not only the lift hill, but the entire track during your ride on the classic attraction.
When you see Space Mountain is down, be sure to go get on the Peoplemover to get a sneak peek behind the scenes of the signature Tomorrowland attraction with the lights on.
