In a shocking move, Disney is moving the brand new Pixar film Onward to Disney+ starting April 3rd in a response to the Coronavirus pandemic.
This is a sad end to what was a very good movie, which will now end its theatrical run of the film at a financial loss as its run was really cut short by the outbreak closing theaters worldwide. It will be interesting to see if other films that were supposed to be released during this time end up getting put on Disney Plus due to the outbreak.
Be sure to check it out when it ends up on Disney+. It is not the best film Pixar has ever made but it is a lot of fun and will take you out of the current struggles of the world into a world of magic and fantastical creatures.
