Even as Pixar Pier is open and thriving there are a few places that Paradise Pier lives on, and I'm not talking about in Disney California Adventure.
In fact, I'm talking about the other coast. At Disney's Hollywood Studios there are multiple places still referencing Paradise Pier and it's attractions. Walt Disney Presents still holds a model of Paradise Pier in reference to California Adventure attractions. In it, you can see former attractions like California Screamin without the scream tunnels as well as the popular restaurant the Cove Bar.
Also on Sunset Boulevard, there is a billboard for the classic pier. This features the pier as it appeared as it was on the opening day of Disney's California Adventure. You can not only see California Screamin', but also the Sun Wheel and the Golden Zepher.
This is a nice tribute to a land that was such a big part of the early years of Disney California Adventure that continues to exist at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
