Disney Wins Four Oscars at the 2020 Academy Awards

Disney just walked away with four Oscars at the 2020 Academy Awards. They missed out on several major awards but did walk away with four big wins for Animated Feature and Adapted Screenplay as well as Best Film Editing and Sound Editing.

Below is a list of all of the awards the studio walked away with.

Toy Story 4 Wins Best Animated Feature

It is an odd year when a Disney or Pixar film does not win this award. Despite only having one film nominated in the category, this is not an odd year. Congratulations to everyone at Pixar for this win. 

Taika Waititi Wins Best Adapted Screenplay for Jojo Rabbit

The film Disney inherited from Fox Searchlight Pictures won them their second award of the night, for Best Adapted Screenplay. Congratulations to everyone involved especially Taika Waititi.

Ford v Ferrari Wins Best Sound Editing

Congratulations to Ford v Ferrari for winning Best Sound Editing. This film was another holdover from 20th Century Fox.

The only Disney film to win two awards tonight, congratulations to Ford v Ferrari on its award for Best Film Editing.
