This week we got a bunch of new information on the parks, specifically for Epcot but also worldwide. On top of all of that, we got a new CEO!
Possible Harmonious Opening Date
We have a rumored opening date for Harmonious, the permanent fireworks show replacing Epcot Forever. It appears it will open on October 1st, giving Epcot Forever a full year and continuing the tradition of new fireworks shows opening on Epcot's anniversary.
This goes in line with the rumors we discussed earlier about the show being delayed from an intended spring opening date.
Spaceship Earth
The Spaceship Earth redo now has a start date, May 26th, 2020. We also got our first concept art publically released outside of D23, showing the Egyptian scene infused with new projection mapping to fit the new theme.
New Disney CEO
Disney has a new CEO! We discuss its possible implications in the video above!
