Today is a huge day in Disney history. It is the 80th anniversary of the classic Disney animated film, Pinocchio.
This film took the achievement Disney had made with Snow White and showed that it was not just a fluke but an all-new viable art form, though its success would be delayed by real-world issues preventing initial admiration of the film.
It has since become a classic and provided multiple songs that have become synonymous with the Disney company itself beyond the actual film.
